Zoe Parker-Crosse


Zoe joined the Aquatic Ecotoxicology team at Cambridge Environmental Assessments in 2017.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Marine and Freshwater Biology from Aberystwyth University.

Since joining CEA, Zoe has become a valuable member of the team, with strong algae and zooplankton taxonomic identification skills, together with extensive knowledge of culturing macroinvertebrates, freshwater algae and zooplankton species.

As a GLP Study Director, Zoe develops and runs higher-tier aquatic ecotoxicological studies and assists in the conduct of GLP outdoor aquatic mesocosm studies.

Zoe is lead freshwater taxonomist specialising in periphyton, phytoplankton and zooplankton species with the ability to identify most to species level. Zoe is also experienced in relevant statistical analysis methods for both in-house generated and historical datasets, including Minimal Detectable Difference (MDD) analysis and ECx analyses, for regulatory purposes.
