
Sarah Henly
REACH and chemical regulation
Originally from Cheshire, Sarah did a degree in Applied Biological Sciences at Bristol Poly (as it was known then). Sarah's career started in a hospital cytogenetic lab before moving to a CRO, where she spent many years in the department of Mutagenicity, running and supervising the in vitro studies. A move to the regulatory department followed, where Sarah's knowledge and experience of chemical regulations, specifically REACH and its complexities, developed and expanded. Several years spent in industry followed, expanding Sarah's knowledge of all regulations in relation to the cosmetics industry. Most recently, Sarah worked for a small consultancy group specializing in chemical regulations and specifically all aspects of REACH.
