Environmental Fate & Behaviour

Richard joined CEA in 2012 and has over 30 years experience in environmental fate. Initially in an academic environment conducting research in the USA and South Africa, he has been involved in the agrochemical industry since 1991. Following 10 years at Rhône-Poulenc Agriculture in the environmental chemistry area and a similar period in contract research, he has accumulated a wide range of experience of laboratory and field Efate and metabolism studies designed to meet international regulatory requirements. Making use of this extensive experience, Richard’s skills include Efate data gap analysis, with recommendations to address any deficiencies identified, together with expertise in dossier preparation, and taking a pesticide through the EU registration process. Richard provides specialist advice for clients on the environmental fate and risk assessment of agrochemicals as well as veterinary and human pharmaceuticals, biocides and industrial chemicals.
