Nathan Brettell

Environmental Field Fate & Behaviour

Nathan has joined CEA from another ADAS business group. His background is in soil science, including the application of organic materials for crop nutrition, and determining soil physical and chemical properties. With a BSc in Environmental Earth Science and a MSc. in Environmental Monitoring and Analysis, Nathan has experience in conducting field experiments across a range of media including soil, water and gas analyses. Since joining the CEA Field Fate group, these skills have been successfully applied in the delivery of several higher tier GLP field studies supporting product re-registration for clients, including investigations of in-field mitigation techniques to reduce surface water contamination, and the movement of volatile substances through the soil profile. Nathan is a member of the ADAS team who successfully competed and were named overall winners of the 2013 Times Graduate Challenge.
